About Us
A consortium of not-for-profit, private and public
agencies committed to meeting the needs of
children and families who are at risk. Children
are our greatest resource. Members of LIFY assist
children and their families through difficult
times by providing support, guidance, professional
services and care.
Mission
L.I.F.Y.
Advocates for the improvement of the quality and level of services for youth and families.
Increase the knowledge, resources and skills of agencies and community groups regarding community-based care and supportive services for youth and families.
Identify and initiate action to effect changes in legislation, which impact on youth and families.
Encourage a positive, receptive attitude for the establishment of community residences and essential supportive services for youth and families.
Improve collaborative planning among public and private agencies, government leaders, schools of Social Work and Community groups.
Provide professional assistance and consultation to agencies.
Provide a forum to share information and knowledge on common issues and concerns.
