Mission Statement

LIFY exists to...

• Advocate for the improvement of the quality and level of services for youth and families.
• Increase the knowledge, resources and skills of agencies and community groups regarding community-based care and supportive services for youth and families.
• Identify and initiate action to effect changes in legislation, which impact on youth and families.
• Encourage a positive, receptive attitude for the establishment of community residences and essential supportive services for youth and families.
• Improve collaborative planning among public and private agencies, government leaders, schools of Social Work and Community groups.
• Provide professional assistance and consultation to agencies.
• Provide a forum to share information and knowledge on common issues and concerns.
